This broth is based with everything healing. The base is coconut milk with digests easily, the aromatics of garlic, ginger, turmeric and onion will warm the body and aid in healing. Recipe from Angela Liddon.
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or ghee
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 6 cloves grated garlic
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp turmeric, dried or fresh optional 1 teaspoon grated fresh
- 1 can lite coconut milk
- 1/4 tsp sea salt or to taste
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayanne pepper
- 1/4 lemon juice
heat oil in pan, add onion, garlic, ginger and sautee for 5 minutes stirring often.
Add turmeric, salt, pepper and cayanne, stir for 1 minute. Add coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
drain through a sieve, discard vegetables. Serve hot
ncorporate into your diet for 30-60 days, 1 cup daily, the ingredients are simple and the recipe is easy.
For the richer, coconut broth, use when needed with allergies, upset stomach, onset of cold or illness. Also good for nurturing during healing from illness.
After cooking sip half of the of the broth through the morning the re-heat and sip the other half in the evening or the next day.

- 1/3 cup slice onion
- 1/3 cup sliced carrot
- 1/3 cup sliced cabbage
- 1/3 cup winter squash
- 4 cups filtered water
Place vegetables and water into a pot, heat to boil, lower heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Strain vegetables and discard vegetables. Drink the broth hot or room temperature. Save remaining and drink within 48 hours. Reheat before drinking.
